About Me
Sub Folk Collective founder Steven Miller is a design professional with over five years experience serving clients in the greater Los Angeles area with a focus on interior styling, residential, commercial and set/production design. He brings to the table a keen eye for design, knowledge of drafting/rendering software, an extensive network of vendors/contacts and the organizational skills/experience necessary for effective project management. During the course of his career, he has provided styling, interior design and project management services for projects that have been featured online and in print for Curbed, The New York Times and California Home Design. Additionally, he was thrilled to contribute to on-site installation work for A Night In The Catskills, Pasadena Playhouse's 2016 themed gala honoring Jane Fonda and Richard Perry. He also provides merchandising, styling and window dressing for retail clients as diverse as a West Los Angeles modernist antiques dealer to The Westerner Barber Shop, an Echo Park mainstay.
Production credits include freelance pre-production assistance for Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012, commercial, Jon Favreau director), freelance contributions to set elements for the 2014 Nickelodeon feature 100 Things to do Before Highschool, and credited art direction/set dressing for Another Day With You (web series, 2014) and Rumination (short, 2015), as well as credited Production Designer for "Cat People" (Another Day With You, 2014, Rob Morrow director.)
